You can help yourself to improve your health and quality of life by incorporating more healthy foods into your diet. These four foods can be eaten as snacks or part of a meal. Use them in place of some unhealthy hoods such as chips, fried foods and processed meats.

  1. Eggs: one egg contains 13 essential vitamins and minerals, high-quality protein, and healthy unsaturated fats for just 75 calories.

 

  1. Pistachio Nuts: Packed with more than 30 vitamins and minerals, they are one of the lowest in fat and calories of all the nuts. Pistachios also contain antioxidants making them a delicious, healthy snack!

 

  1. Avocado: High in polyunsaturated fat which is good for the heart. A good source of fiber, potassium and vitamin E. They are creamy and delicious and taste great added to a salad or many other dishes.
